About the Artwork:
This piece was inspired by and painted in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. The Pine Barrens are a special place to me and my partner, holding space for us on so many camping trips and expanded consciousness journeys throughout the years.
There is an undeniable power and magic that exists there that is unique to the area. Every time I have been, I feel very welcomed, supported, and addressed by the energy of the trees and nature spirits. I always feel they are encouraging me and helping me in my growth and transformation just by being in their presence.
This piece was painted in the Pine Barrens on a camping trip, and I strongly feel it was a collaboration between myself and the energy of the area. I aimed to not only showcase and honor the power of the iconic pines that always hold space for me, but to also honor how much trees overall are conscious beings in their own right and "see" so much more than we realize.
Canvas is finished with paper backing, hanging wire, and finished edges for immediate hanging.
